CREW CALL- ANIMATOR
Company: Rot Mist Ltd
Location: NI-Based, On-site or Remote / Hybrid
Start date: 29th Sept 2025
Job Type: Full time – fixed contract for 3months (5 days per week)
Salary: Competitive – dependant on experience
About Us:
Rot Mist Ltd is the production company behind Mutant Year Zero. You’ll be collaborating with the team at Atelier 11- formerly known as HaZimation – a transmedia production company founded by Paula Crickard. Atelier 11 focuses on the development and production of live-action and animated feature films, series, and video games. The studio is known for its innovative storytelling and its ability to blend mediums to create immersive, next-generation content.
Key Responsibilities:
- -Ensure high quality standards across all animation
- -Work closely with shot creators to implement animation in Unreal Engine
- -Self-motivated and able to troubleshoot technical challenges if they arise
- -Communicate with Production/Director to convey and describe ideas in efficient ways both in verbal and written format
- -Respond to feedback in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Experience in motion capture cleanup and motion editing essential
- Experience with Reallusion Character Creator and iClone workflow highly preferred
- Experience in Maya and Motion Builder desirable
- Experience in Unreal Engine desirable
- Experience in creating high quality facial animations desirable
- A deep understanding of physical motion, weight, balance and form, with the ability to create realistic and believable animations
- An understanding of animation pipelines and transferring data between tools
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, understanding project goals and timelines
- Passion for pushing creative boundaries and staying updated on industry trends
- Must be a resident in Northern Ireland
