SCREEN Cluster Training

Novice Telehandler, Forklift Truck and Powered Access Training 


Course Overview 

Sunbelt Rentals are delivering ITTSAR J3 Telehandler and B1 Counterbalance categories as well as Scissor and Boom (IPAF) training for those working in the Locations, Electrical, Grips, Rigging, Props and SFX departments.  

Accreditation schemes are designed to improve safety by providing comprehensive training that ensures both organisations and delegates are meeting current and relevant standards.  

By undertaking ITTSAR J3 Telehandler and B1 Counterbalance categories as well as IPAF training, Northern Ireland Screen is helping to ensure that colleagues working on productions can operate Telehandlers, Fork Lift Trucks and MEWPS safe in the knowledge that they have been trained in both the theoretical and practical skills for these categories to the highest standards.  

Candidates should not have previously completed formal training or hold a certificate in any of the categories.  

Course Structure 

  • IPAF training – One day of training 

Dates available: 3rd March – 7th March (candidates should be available at least one full working day 8:30am-4:30pm) 

  • 1 week FLT training – 10th March – 14th March (candidates should be available for all 5 days 08:30am-4:30pm) 
  •  1 week Telehandler training (candidates should be available for all 5 days, 08:30am-4:30pm, either week one or week two) 

Dates available: 

  • Week 1: 17th March – 21st March 
  • Week 2: 24th March – 28th March 

Who Should Attend? 

  • Those with no prior formal training in any of the categories, and working in the Electrical, Locations, Grips, Rigging, Props, SFX departments.
