Skills Coordinator vacancy

We are recruiting a Skills Coordinator (6-month contract) to join our Production team. Reporting to the Skills Manager the post-holder will contribute to the organisation’s skills development strategy. They will contribute to the design of the skills development programmes across all six priority sectors and assist in their delivery, including all monitoring and support functions. This will include:
- Being the first point of contact for skills enquiries;
- Developing placement opportunities within Northern Ireland Screen funded production projects and with companies across our six priority sectors;
- Identifying any skills gaps and developing programmes and initiatives to plug those gaps;
- Exploring and securing new collaborative partnership opportunities to extract maximum value;
- Monitoring the development of the trainees;
- Budgeting and organising skills development events and activities;
- Reporting on skills projects; and
- Collecting and disseminating skills impact data.
