Netflix Assistant Production Accountant Programme

Due to high levels of film and TV drama production in the UK, Netflix is looking to recruit up to ten trainees, with the right skills and experience, to work in the production accounts department on their productions across the UK.
Trainees will initially complete four weeks of intensive training in assistant production accounting, taught by industry professionals and run by The Production Guild of Great Britain. Successful trainees will then work on Netflix productions over a 12-month period, supporting the work of production accountants and assistant accountants.
Duties will include sorting and distributing paperwork, inputting data, processing payments and general office admin. At the end of the programme, there will be opportunities for those successful to continue working for Netflix productions as a freelancer in the production accounts department and continue to receive mentoring and training to further move up.
Who is the course aimed at?
Applicants should have academic or vocational qualifications in accounting or an equivalent level of competence through work experience, for example as a cashier, bookkeeper or in a junior financial administration capacity.
The closing date for applications is 10am on Friday 26th August.
Online Tests to be submitted by 10am on Monday 29th August.
Interviews will take place from Tuesday 13th September.
Netflix will seek to offer places on the programme (subject to references) w/c Monday 19th September.
