Grand Scheme Media presents a Belfast Script Supervision workshop for Children’s TV

Grand Scheme Media is set to host an informal and informative workshop presented by former BBC mentor Caryn Langrick aimed specifically at those who want to work in Children’s Television.
In association with Zodiak Kids Studios, the workshop is due to take place at The MAC Theatre over the course of two days on Wednesday 7th December and Thursday 8th December.
The sessions will focus on the skills required to work as a script supervisor, with specific reference to working with children. It is set at an introductory level and covers continuity, script notes, timings, working with a director, working on set, health and safety, and working with children. The guest director is Dez McCarthy.
Delegates will receive insight into all the key skills required and work with cast and director to shoot scenes. Delegates will also have an opportunity to apply for a three/four week work placement on a forthcoming Zodiak Kids Studios production.

Course Leader Caryn Langrick
Caryn Langrick has worked as a Script Supervisor/Continuity on BBC Drama Series like Casualty, Eastenders, Lovejoy, Inspector Alleyn, Riff Raff Element and Between the Lines. She transferred to BBC Training as a Senior Course Producer where she ran a portfolio of PA courses including specialist courses
