BBC Academy’s Digital Cities will be returning as Digital Cities Virtual in 2020-2021, with a not-to-be missed monthly series of FREE events for the creative industries.
Digital Cities Virtual will take place from Tuesday 22 to Thursday 24 September with a full and varied schedule of amazing FREE events for people who work in, or want to work in, the creative industries.
Attendees will hear from a range of experts from the creative, tech and digital sectors, running masterclasses on subjects such as digital innovation in the TV industry, storytelling for digital platforms and building a brand using social media. Those starting out in the industry will have the opportunity to get advice on networking, as well as the latest information on apprenticeships, bursaries, and training schemes.
For those looking to get on and get into the industry, ScreenSkills has a full line up of sessions with information about the latest opportunities and talent managers from Northern Ireland Screen, BBC Childrens & Talented People will be holding 1-2-1 chats.
BBC Academy will be offering multiple sessions that will brush up and improve your digital skills – this September, these will be about creating social content on your smartphone, how to build TV fandom on social media and how to use Twitter to showcase your personal brand.In addition to all of this, BBC Young Reporter and BBC STEM will continue to deliver their amazing training to schools across the UK.
