Short Film Schemes 2019/20 now open

Northern Ireland Screen has launched a number of short film schemes aimed at developing Northern Ireland resident creative talent. These include:
The Short Film Call
We intend to use Lottery Funds provided through the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and BFI NETWORK to support the production of Short Film.
Closing date for applications: Friday 12th April 2019.
Shorts to Features
A scheme which provides an opportunity for emerging creative teams to create a short film which is tonally and thematically aligned with their feature film ambitions.
Closing date for applications: 5pm Friday 5th July 2019.
New Shorts Focus
An initiative to find Northern Ireland resident filmmakers exclusively from groups that are underrepresented in the film and television sector. This includes Females 30+, Disabled applicants, Black and minority ethnic (BME) applicants and Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual and Transgender applicants.
Deadline for receipt of applications: 5pm Friday 24th May 2019.
