Netflix Heist Film ‘Lift’ arriving on Netflix January 12

The long-awaited Lift, which was filmed on location in Northern Ireland, will be available on Netflix this week. Starring Kevin Hart, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Vincet D’Onofori, Úrsula Corberó, Billy Magnussen, Vivek Kalra, Yun Jee Kim and Sam Worthington, Lift will be available to stream on Netflix from the 12th January.
Directed by F. Gary Gray Lift filmed in Harbour Studios and on location across Northern Ireland with support from Northern Ireland Screen.
Lift sees an international heist crew, led by Cyrus Whitaker (Kevin Hart), race to lift $500 million in gold from a passenger plane at 40,000 feet before the fortune ends up in the wrong hands.
Director F. Gary Gray and Producers Kevin Hart, Adam Kassan, Patricia Braga, Brent O’Connor were assisted on the ground by talented local crew when the production commenced filming in Northern Ireland from March until July in 2022.

Lift is the second Netflix film to shoot on location in Northern Ireland following the successful The School for Good and Evil which was based on a best-selling series of young adult fantasy novels by Soman Chainani and follows a group of girls and boys who are taken to an institution and trained to become fairy tale-like heroes and villains.
