Nerve Belfast hosting BFI Film Academy 2017/18 Network Programme

The Nerve Belfast Creative Learning Centre is seeking committed, talented, young people between the age of 16 and 19 to be a part of the BFI Film Academy 2017/18 Network Programme.
As a BFI Film Academy participant, you will work with filmmakers and take part in a series of masterclasses and workshops with industry professionals, hear their top tips on how to get into and succeed in the film industry, get practice in developing and pitching your ideas and produce your own work. You’ll discuss films from around the world and learn more about distribution, film-festivals and programming. By the end of the course you will have produced a short film.
Once you have completed the Network course, you will become part the growing BFI Film Academy alumni network with access to events such as BAFTA career talks. You will also have the opportunity to complete an NCFE Award qualification on the course.
