LYRA AND ONCE UPON A TIME IN NORTHERN IRELAND WIN 2024 BROADCAST AWARDS

Congratulations to both Lyra and Once Upon a Time in Northern Ireland who were among last night’s prestigious winners at the 2024 Broadcast Awards.  

Lyra, the feature documentary chronicling the life of Lyra McKee—a young journalist tragically murdered in Northern Ireland in 2019, was awarded as Best Documentary.  Lyra  was made by her close friend, BAFTA-winning Alison Millar (Erica Starling Productions), executively produced by Hillary Rodham Clinton’s Hidden Light Productions, and supported by Northern Ireland Screen. 

Once Upon a Time in Northern Ireland, a documentary series produced by Keo Films and Walk on Air Films, won the Best Documentary Series award. The series unfolds personal stories of conflict and peace, shared by those who lived through the Troubles and reflect on its legacy after 25 years.
