A brand-new cleaning show that features a craic team of cleaners from Donegal who tour Ireland cleaning the country’s messiest homes.

The series will air on TG4 starting 2nd of October 2024 at 8.30pm and will also be available for streaming on the TG4 player. The series is produced by Ronin Films with support from Northern Ireland Screen’s Irish Language Broadcast Fund.
Is Mise le Mess is a series all about the beauty and therapy of cleaning. We follow Derena, Síle and Colleen as they dust bust, grapple with grime and clear out clutter. Packed with craic, handy tips and mind-blowing transformations, this is a must watch for the entire family.
Not only does this series feature deep cleaning but also deep insights and heartfelt discussions with the homeowners who need a helping hand…or three! Derena, Síle and Colleen get to work while also getting to the bottom of what has caused the issues in the first place. They share helpful tips and practical advice along the way so that you too can keep your home spick and span!
In Belfast we meet ukulele player Nuala and her partner Mícheál who struggle to find a place to sit down and eat with the amount of clutter. The ladies are shocked when Nuala introduces them to her pet rats! In Donegal we meet Fiallais and her son Thomás. Fiallais has limited mobility and gets the help she needs with a good deep clean.
Back in Belfast, we meet Faoileann, a mum of eight whose garage is full to the brim with bits and bobs from the children’s various hobbies over the years. In the case of Ciara in Donegal, it isn’t the garage but the attic that needs a good clear-out. Two local handy heroes join the ladies to help out.
Kathy in Belfast works all the time and struggles as a result to keep on top of the cleaning. Along with her daughter Sadbh, the team devises several strategies to help her keep things clean and organised. Finally, in Newry, Daria struggles with her health and is often too exhausted to clean. Her family of furry friends offers great companionship but doesn’t help much with the cleaning! She needs all hands on deck to clear out a space to practice Pilates.
