WFTV online conversation with Lisa McGee

Women in Film and Television is hosting an online converstion with Lisa McGee on Thursday 30 April at 2pm for its members. This is an exciting opportunity to hear from Lisa McGee, 2019 WFTV ScreenSkills Writers Award winner and creator and executive producer of Channel 4’s critically acclaimed, Derry Girls.
Louise Gallagher, Scripted Executive at Hat Trick Productions, will be talking to Lisa finding out how she began her writing career, her thoughts on the incredible success of Derry Girls and the challenges that she has faced along the way. Lisa will also be giving us an insight into writing life and her top tips for how writers can use this time to develop their craft.
After the talk, there will be an audience Q&A.
