Seminar: Writing Character and Journey with Kate Leys

Writing Character and Journey Seminar with Kate Leys
Kate Leys will look at story, structure, character and dialogue. She will focus in particular on subtext, aka the dark art of letting us know precisely who your characters are without you – or them – telling us.
How do people give themselves away? How can we understand someone without voice over, exposition or descriptive speeches? She will also look at structure, both as an idea of the overall shape and organisation of a story and as a way to keep a story driving forwards. And she’ll take as many of your questions as time allows.
