Performance Short Film Competition

The Performance Short Film Competition is back! Now in its fifth year, this exciting and creative competition is back with bigger prizes – the prize fund has been upped to £1,000 per category. And this year Performance will be hosting an exclusive event in Hoxton for the finalists.
The categories are:
- Best Comedy Short
- Best ‘Short’ Short (less than 5 minutes in length)
- Best Documentary Short
- Best Horror Short
- Best Drama Short
Here’s what you need to know:
To enter the competition, your short film needs to:
- have been completed after 1st January 2021
- have a maximum running time of 20 minutes
- be supplied as a YouTube or Vimeo link
- be submitted no later than the closing date on Monday 15th August
