Northern Ireland Screen is now accepting applications for an Interactive Manager.
The creative industries is an exciting growth area and a priority for government. Northern Ireland Screen, the lead agency for the film, television and digital content industry launched Part 2 of its Opening Doors Strategy in 2018 to transform the screen industries in Northern Ireland and are now seeking to recruit a dynamic individual to join their team.
This is a challenging industry facing role. Reporting to the Head of Production, the Interactive Manager is the organisation’s sector lead for the interactive sector, (e.g. video games, virtual reality, augmented reality, e-learning, and internet video creation companies) delivering the interactive talent development functions. The Interactive Manager is responsible for the new games hub, The Pixel Mill, including recruiting companies to join the incubation process. They will be the first point of contact for interactive enquiries; will have responsibility for budgeting and organising interactive development events and activities; tracking, reviewing and reporting on Northern Ireland Screen funded interactive projects, with particular emphasis on guiding and developing the work and careers of new and emerging interactive development talent; attending international events to promote NI Screen’s interactive slate and talent to the global market.
Interactive content development is a high priority aspect of Northern Ireland Screen’s strategy, making this an exciting opportunity.
