New Talent Strand at Film London Production Finance Market open for applications

Do you have a feature script that is looking to get financed? Are you emerging talent that is looking for training support to ensure you can pitch and present your project to financiers with confidence?
Film London’s annual Production Finance Market (PFM) will take place from 12-13 October 2020 either physically or as an online event given the recent outbreak in COVID-19. The deadline for all applications is 5pm on Monday 6 July.
The PFM’s main strand is open to established producers (both UK and international) with feature film (fiction or doc) and TV drama projects budgeted at €1 million and above. Projects must be clearly aimed at the theatrical or broadcast market, and packaged to a level that financiers can realistically consider. Projects packaged with a) director; b) two key cast; c) at least 30% of cornerstone financing in place will be given priority.
The PFM’s New Talent strand has an established reputation as a crucial crossroads in the UK film calendar to engage with exciting new talent. This strand is open to emerging filmmakers (both UK and International) with projects budgeted up to €1 million. Finance does not have to be in place to apply to the New Talent strand, but projects with some finance confirmed will be considered more attractive to NTS financiers attending. Full scripts must be included as part of the application.
The New Talent strand includes training for selected filmmakers to ensure they are ready to find finance and grow their networks.
Financiers attending include private equity funds and investors, banks active in the film and TV financing sector, international film sales companies, leading international and single territory distributors and broadcasters, mature international production companies committed to co-producing/financing, VOD platforms, screen agencies and other public funding bodies.
