ILBF talent nominated for Oireachtas Communication Awards 2019

The shortlist for this year’s Oireachtas Communication Awards 2019 has been announced with several nominations attributed to content supported by Northern Ireland Screen’s Irish Language Broadcast Fund (ILBF).
The Awards, which are presented annually, are recognised as a mark of excellence in Irish language broadcasting for creativity and originality.
The ILBF content nominated this year includes;
- Journalist of the year: Caoimhe Ní Chathail – Meon Eile / Freelance
- Television programme of the year: Lomax in Éirinn (Aisling Productions) and Scéal na Beatha (Below the Radar)
- Film of the year: Aithrí (De Facto Films / Zanzibar Films)
- Radio series of the year: Raidió Fáilte
- Social media campaign of the year: #Faduda (Paper Owl Films)
- Television series of the year: Beidh Aonach Amárach (Crawford McCann) and An Focal Scoir (Below the Radar)
- Television personality of the year: Máire Bhreathnach
Winners will be announced at a Gala Event in Citywest, Co. Dublin, on Wednesday, October 30th, 2019, during the annual Oireachtas Festival.
