Coronavirus – Job retention scheme update

The UK Government released an update on the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme as it relates to fixed term contracts on the 23rd April 2020. Clarification was provided around the following:
- References to fixed term contracts that had ‘naturally ended’ have been removed;
- Cut-off dates for reengagements has been extended to 19th March in addition to 28th February.
