The Horror! filmmaking programme
Learn how to create your own Horror Film using SFX make-up and filmmaking techniques with the latest programme from Making the Future.
Are you aged 12-16, based in Northern Ireland & border counties and want to make a horror film?
Join Making the Future & Northern Ireland Screen for this new workshop and create your very own horror film!
What you’ll get:
In this free, five-day programme you will:
- Learn filming and editing techniques
- Learn the ins and outs of Special Effects make-up with Connie McGrath
- Take part in an Acting Workshop with Rob Crawford (Bruiser Theatre Company)
- Gain access to Northern Ireland Screen’s Digital Film Archive to view FX videos made by the Spence Bros and be inspired to create your own unique film
- Meet other participants and make new friends.
How the programme will work:
Workshops take place over five days, from Monday 2 – Friday 6 August, from 10am to 2pm. Venue TBC.
***Due to funding stipulations, this programme is only eligible for those who have not taken part in a previous Making the Future programme.
Numbers are extremely limited to ensure COVID19 safety guidelines, please only sign up if you are eligible and can commit to the 5 days.***
