Into Film’s My Place project showcases Digital Film Archive footage

In 2021 My Place was an inter-generational Into Film project undertaken by 10 young people across Northern Ireland who worked with interview footage from 9 different interviews of care home residents living within Abbeylands Care Home.
Interviews were edited by the young people with the help of local film maker Michael MacBroom, to include clips taken from Northern Ireland Screen’s Digital Film Archive to enhance and add context to the interviews.
Topics cover range widely from first jobs to dancehalls to meeting ‘the one’ the collection of videos are heart-warming and entertaining with something for everyone, and we are delighted to share them with you.
