Channel 4 Belfast open day – 22nd June
Date Posted: June 9, 2022
On Wednesday 22 June Channel 4 is working with Northern Ireland Screen to host an Open Day for the creative community in Northern Ireland. This day will be an opportunity for those involved in TV production and content creation in Northern Ireland to find out more about plans, priorities and how Channel 4 is keen to support and work with the sector.
From 10am to 1pm there will be a virtual programme with sessions taking place on Zoom. There will be a series of 30 minute practical talks and workshops including audience trends and data, creative diversity and legal and business affairs.
In the afternoon there will be an in-person programme taking place at the Clayton Hotel in central Belfast. This will be attended by More4 commissioners, and focus on Channel 4 commissioning opportunities and priorities. Between 2pm and 4pm there will be the opportunity for a 1-2-1 with a More 4 commissioner – though please note slots are limited so we may not be able to accommodate all requests. This will be followed by a commissioner Q&A from 4.15pm, with a focus on More 4. The afternoon will end with an opportunity for drinks and networking.
We really hope that you can join us. If you would like to attend either the virtual programme and / or the in person programme, please register here – https://rsvp.theworldsbest.events/_01569
