Ulster University Work Placement Programme

As part of our ongoing support of the local animation, gaming and VFX sectors, Northern Ireland Screen intends to run a work placement/training programme aimed at both under graduates and recent graduates studying animation (BDes Hons) from the Ulster University’s Belfast School of Art.
The programme will offer six month work placements for six under graduates and twelve month work placements for six recent graduates, with a number of our local animation, gaming and VFX companies. The programme is a paid placement scheme (Minimum/National Living wage) with placements starting between July 2016 – September 2016. Applicants in their application letter, must demonstrate how their career path will benefit from participation in the programme, their willingness to learn and that they have a long term commitment to working in the animation, gaming or VFX sector. Applicants should also evidence that they are self-motivated individuals, attributes participating companies and Northern Ireland Screen consider to be crucial to these positions.
