Acorn & Tiffen present Steadicam Silver Workshop

Acorn & Tiffen are running a Steadicam Silver Workshop from 5th-7th August at Acorn’s new studio, 13 Fitzwilliam Street, Belfast, BT9 6AW
The Silver Workshop is a three day workshop designed to get beginners to Steadicam operating in the shortest possible time but often also attended by operators with some Steadicam experience.
Students will get to use the larger rigs such as the Merlin and the Archer. The workshop is based around the Tiffen Steadicam Short Course syllabus. This covers all basic techniques and looks at blocking out shots, compositional aspects and timing.
The workshop is non-residential but a light working lunch is provided.

This course will only go ahead if there is sufficient interest.
Depending on your experience in the industry and the level of demand, you may be eligible for a Northern Ireland Screen Skills Bursary.
PLEASE NOTE : If you intend to apply to the Northern Ireland Screen Skills Bursary to attend this course you must apply two weeks before the first day of the course to ensure your application is processed in time.
