Women in Film & TV Northern Ireland To Host Two Masterclasses in September

Join WFTV Northern Ireland for an insightful masterclass with C4 Commissioning Editor, Specialist Factual, Nicola Brown on Friday 13th September at The MAC, Belfast from 4pm to 5:30pm. Nicola will be discussing how she developed her career in film and TV and revealing her top tips for making it in the industry. She will also be talking about some of the many hit shows she has worked on. Nicola will also be discussing what it’s really like to be a commissioner and the key secrets to successfully pitching your idea. Visit the WFTV website to book your place.

The second masterclass is with BBC3 Controller, Fiona Campbell. Fiona will be discussing how she built and developed her career to become the first female controller of BBC Three. The masterclass will take place at BBC Blackstaff Studios, Belfast on Friday 20th September from 10:30am to 12 noon. She will talk about the day-to-day realities of running a channel and the types of shows and ideas she is now looking to commission.
