‘Echoes’ wins Best Irish Short at Dublin Sci-Fo 2018 Award

Congratulations to short-film Echoes, which won ‘Best Irish Short’ at the Dublin Sci-Fi Awards
Echoes was produced by causeAscene Films and received funding support from Northern Ireland Screen via the BFI Network.
This was the first year that Dublin Sci-Fi Film Festival held an Irish Focus night, with a short film programme made up entirely of Irish short science fiction and fantastic film.
Speaking on behalf of the Short Film Jury, Olivia Fahy stated:
“ECHOES is a very well put together film. It has very clear story progressions, good performances and effects and was oozing with Sci-Fi.”
In this category, the Shorts Jury also gave a special mention to Trevor Courtney’s short Fantasy Film Deposits.
