Once upon a Time in Northern Ireland and The Lovers’ Roisin Gallagher nominated for 2024 BAFTA TV Awards

BAFTA today announced the nominations for the 2024 BAFTA Television Awards and the BAFTA Television Craft Awards with both Once Upon a Time in Northern Ireland and The Lovers’ Roisin Gallagher securing nominations.
The documentary series Once Upon a Time in Northern Ireland, produced by Keo Films and Walk on Air Films, has received four nominations in the Factual Series, Director Factual, Original Music Factual and Editing Factual categories. The series unfolds personal stories of conflict and peace, shared by those who lived through the Troubles and reflect on its legacy after 25 years.
Belfast’s Roisin Gallagher has been nominated in the Female Performance in a Comedy Programme category for her work in the Sky Original Drama The Lovers. Filmed on location in Belfast and written and created by the award-winning Belfast playwright David Ireland, The Lovers is a love story set in Belfast about two people who appear to be utterly wrong for each other—yet may just be utterly right.
The BAFTA Television Awards, hosted by Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan, will take place on Sunday 12 May. The BAFTA Television Craft Awards take place on Sunday 28 April.
