We are seeking a high-calibre Access and Outreach Officer, who will be a crucial part of the Heritage and Archive Department. Leading the stakeholder engagement sessions across Northern Ireland, the successful candidate will work with a variety of audiences, increasing access to, and awareness of moving image culture, whilst maintaining relationships with a network of heritage institutions, across all communities in Northern Ireland.
The post-holder will deliver an extensive outreach programme, providing a range of in-person and online, archive-based activity – presentations, workshops, screenings and events – that engage a variety of audiences across Northern Ireland and increase access to moving image culture. In particular, they will be responsible for incorporating UTV archive material into outreach activities.
The post-holder will also maintain and manage the Digital Film Archive network – a broad range of sites and facilitator organisations across Northern Ireland. They will work closely with key partners, such as The Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI), and be responsible for content delivery and maintaining hardware across the network. They will provide onsite training and ongoing support for partner organisations, ensuring the integration of moving image material in education, outreach and heritage programmes, across the network.
