Call for networkshop tutors

We are seeking to appoint freelance workshop tutors to provide seminar delivery services for our Networkshops series across the factual, fiction and animation sectors.
We require the speakers to have detailed insight and professional experience of the sector in which they wish to deliver seminars. They must demonstrate this clearly in their CV and include relevant film and or television credits as appropriate.
PROFESSIONAL ABILITY
Individuals who wish to be considered for inclusion on our freelance Networkshops tutor framework must be able to demonstrate the following minimum professional criteria:
- Have a minimum of 36 months consecutive experience in a relevant film and/or television grade.
- Excellent knowledge of the film and/or television production industry in the UK and Ireland.
HOW TO APPLY
Individuals, in support of the above criteria, must submit a CV with all relevant industry credits and professional industry experience and two references regarding this area of work and a cover letter outlining their relevant experience.

Potential suppliers must detail their fee for the delivery of one 2-hour workshop session inclusive of preparation time.

If your application is shortlisted you will be required to attend an interview.
Individuals will be classed as supplier to Northern Ireland Screen and will be liable for their own HMRC and VAT payments.
All individuals will be required to undergo Access NI.
CLOSING DATE
Closing date for this call is Friday 1st April at 12 Noon.
PERIOD OF SERVICE
It is anticipated that subject to the continuing availability of funding that the successful candidates will be available on a rolling basis of up to 24 months subject to demand in their specialised genre either animation, factual or fiction. However, it should be noted that we cannot guarantee a level of work. It is anticipated that service provision will commence from April 2022.
ASSUMPTIONS
Individuals applying must not make assumptions that Northern Ireland Screen has prior knowledge of them, or their service provision and they will only be evaluated on the information provided in their response.
CONFLICTS OF INTEREST
The service provider must confirm that they have no conflict of interest or perceived conflict of interest in delivering this service.
The successful service provider must not allow themselves to be placed in a position where their personal interests are in conflict (or could be in conflict) with the interests or business of Northern Ireland Screen.
PAYMENT
Payment will be made following receipt and approval by Northern Ireland Screen of a detailed invoice.
