On the passing of Marilyn Hyndman

Northern Ireland Screen is very sorry to hear of the sudden death of Marilyn Hyndman. Marilyn, in a life long partnership with Dave Hyndman, was the inspiration and driving force behind Northern Visions and NVTV and at the heart of giving communities a voice for decades. Many many people across the screen industry have Marilyn to thank for their beginnings in the sector, even more people across the voluntary and communities sector have Marilyn to thank for giving them a voice and the skills to use it. In more recent times, we were very grateful to Marilyn for her enthusiasm championing content production and training for both Irish Language and Ulster-Scots content. Our thoughts are with Dave, her children Sinead and Conor and the wider NvTv family.
