Canada and Northern Ireland co-development incentive networking event

The Canada Media Fund and Northern Ireland Screen are inviting producers to attend an Information and Networking Event in preparation for submitting applications for its Co-development Incentive for Audio-visual Projects. The event will take place on Wednesday 28th July from 2pm – 5pm (BST).
The initiative funds the co-development of television projects in the drama, documentary, animation or education genres, or digital media content made for other platforms, including web series, video games, transmedia projects, and virtual or augmented reality.
Producers who are seeking a Canadian or Northern Ireland co-producer are encouraged to register and browse the Registrant Directory to set up meetings with potential partners. The Fund Info Session will also provide an opportunity for producers to find out more information about the funding initiative. Producers interested in applying to receive funding can apply until Wednesday 1st September.
The amount available for this year will be CAD$200,000 (£117,000) with half the funds contributed by each funding organisation. The total maximum contribution for each project funded through the Incentive will be CAD$50,000 (£29,250).
