Trainee opportunity for a Sound Designer

Northern Ireland Screen intends to run a skills development programme as part of the COMPANY PLACEMENT SCHEME called Trainee Sound Designer 2020. The programme will provide a training opportunity in a music composition & sound company for one person.
The Trainee Sound Designer will be joining a busy music composition and sound company in Northern Ireland that works across film, television, gaming and advertising. Assisting the creative team, the role will involve preparing sessions across a range of DAWs (mainly Pro Tools and Cubase) mapping sound design, recording foley, creating dynamic and authentic sounds, recording voice-over artists, compiling vocal takes, mixing, dubbing, exporting and organising audio deliverables and assisting in ongoing studio maintenance.
The scheme will be based in Belfast, Northern Ireland and participants will be expected to base themselves in Northern Ireland for the duration of the scheme.
