Media Business School - courses now open for applications

The renowned Media Business School has launched this year's courses and is now seeking applications.

You are reminded that Northern Ireland Screen skills funding is available for such courses; the school is recommended and several Northern Ireland participants have gained much from their attendance.

m&id (Marketing & International Distribution)

m&id is a project-based programme geared to experienced film industry professionals to develop smart, inspiring and innovative digital driven marketing and international distribution strategies for feature films, embracing the opportunities that digital media offers to optimise the visibility and exploitation of projects across markets. 

Target group
Entertainment sector entrepreneurs, producers and company executives, with experience in production, marketing, distribution, sales and acquisitions.
Open to participants from around the world. 

Dates and Venue
8th - 14th July 2013
Ronda, Málaga (Spain)
Application deadline: 31st May 2013

Application requirements
• Experienced (min. 5 years) entertainment sector producers, distributors, sales agents and senior company management
• Project Executive Summary
• High proficiency in English (spoken and written)

mpbs (Multi Platform Business School)

mpbs is a project-based programme which focuses on the business aspects of creating cross-platform content.

mpbs will enable participants to develop their skills in creating crossmedia strategies and building sustainable business models for projects with trans-media potential, offering formulas that optimise their projects´ IP and commercial value.

Target group
mpbs is geared toward producers, company executives and creators of audiovisual content (film, television, Internet, games and mobile).Open to participants from around the world.

Application requirements
• Producers and content creators with a proven track record
• Course project (film, TV, transmedia, doc, animation, series, other).
• High proficiency in English.
