Wild Rover appoints Sean Doyle as Head of Development

Wild Rover Productions has made a high level addition to its development team. Sean Doyle, previously of Zoogon Productions, has taken on the newly created role of Head of Development for the expanding entertainment indie.

Sean began his career in Belfast, before working in London with Endemol and ITV on a wide range of shows including Ready, Steady, Cook, The Match and Loose Women. He returned to Northern Ireland in 2008 and ran emerging indie, Zoogon, where he was responsible for their slate of programming in Ireland.

MD Phil Morrow said, “Sean is a perfect fit for the company. He’ll run our development department and work in partnership with the senior exec team behind Secret Fortune and Take the Money and Run."

Sean added, “I’m delighted to be heading up development at Wild Rover. It feels like the natural home for my ideas and ambition and I am really looking forward to this new challenge.”

Wild Rover is currently in production with series three of Secret Fortune for BBC One, Dara O Briain: School of Hard Sums for Dave and David Meade – Make Believe for BBC Northern Ireland.
