Statement from Northern Ireland Screen on "The Good Man" incident
Northern Ireland Screen Chairman Rick Hill and CEO Richard Williams have condemned the attack on a cast member who was working on the feature film THE GOOD MAN, which was filming in Frenchpark Street in south Belfast on Friday afternoon.
“Northern Ireland Screen is concerned to hear of the incident during the filming of THE GOOD MAN; our thoughts are with James Turley and his family, as well as with the other cast and crew involved. We understand this was an unprovoked attack on a group of young men who were part of the growing positive story of Northern Ireland’s burgeoning creative industries.
This has been a regrettable event and not one which is typical of the industry here, where increased film and television production activity has completed without incident.”
